Comparison:
Compare how writers in your study have explored the themes of judgement and punishment or disguise and deceit or love and friendship and with what effect.
I am going to be focus on how writers explore judgement. First of all I will start with Oedipus and his judement with trying to find out the truth about his orginins and what his punishment was. So his judgement seemed to be stubborn, because he really wnated to find out and when he didn't really believe what he was being told by the prophet he decided to find out from others. which ruined him, because he found out all the truth. And that lead him to his punishment which was causing chaos, and it ruined his family too.
In The Wild Duck, Hjalmar's judgement to treat Hedvig like she was nothing lead to the sad ending. Hjalmar's punishment was Hedvig's death, because she was trying to change Hjalmar's instant reaction and trying to win back his love.
For Blood Wedding, well I am not done with the book, so I can't really give my view on it. I will do a post later for Blood Wedding.
